Another Gillam Oil Well.

News has been received by way of Wheatfield, of the striking of another oil vein in Gillam Tp The well is near the Berkley Tp. line and not very far from the well found on the Swisher farm, some years ago. The well was “shot” Monday by parties from South Bend, who came and went by way of Wheatfield, which is how the news came from there. The shooting is said to have developed a “gusher. ’ The oil is understood to be heavy lubricating oil, like that found in the Swisher' well, and, like that, found at no very great depth, not far froriS 100 feet.
