The City Council.

The City Councjl at their regular meeting, Monday night, transacted but little business aside from the street improvement matter. They even forgot to select a location’for the second watering fountain, which selection was turned over to the Council by the county commissioners. One or two side-walk orders were made the most important being a cement walk in front of G. K. Hollingsworth’s residence prop erty, on Washington street. An ordinance was adopted for the sewer on Plum, Cherry, Franklin and Main streets, heretofore described. For the first time since the city has owned the electric lights the report showed that every dollar for the month of June had been collected'andfMthat there were no delinquences to report.
