Salaries Being Revised.

The Indiana fee and salary commission, constituted bj r an act of the legislature and composed ofTimothy E. Howard, ex-judge of tne supreme court, Augustus CDaily, ex-auditor of state and William A. Wilkins, is entering upon its. labors with a prospect of ultimately fixing the question of official salaries upon a fair and equitable basis and removing this disturbing factor from the politics of the state. The present law i$ unfair in many instances and a method of doing away with she objectionable fee system is the main objeot sought.
