Stone Crasher Still Pending.

The rock crusher matter is still in statu quo. Messrs Yeoman and Wood worth are not willing to consumate the purchase of the crusher unless they can first have some assurance of encouragement from the city government and citizens generally, Their experiments m the river conducted last week, showed them that the rock in the channel can not be economically removed except by the aid of a steam drill and a dredging apparatus. They have been consulting with the parties who are making the rock cut on the big Monon ditch where the conditions are very similar to that in the river channel here, and one of the parties will be here Wednesday to look the field over.
