Death of Mrs. Mary Waymire.
Mrs. Mary Way mire, widow of the late John Wai mire, died Saturday, July Ist, at tbe home of her son, Hon.- Frederick Way mire, the county commissioner, in Jordan Tp. Her home was in Rensselaer, but during her last sickness she was staying with her son. The cause of her death was a complication of diseases. She was born in Warren Co., this state, Mar. 20, 1830, and her age at death was 69 years, 3 months and 11 days. Her maiden name was McMullen. She was married to John Waymire in July 1849. He died five years ago, next August. Five of the nine children born to them are also deceased. The four surviving are Frederick and Daniel Waymire, Mrs. Robert Michaels and Mrs. Jos. L. Adams. She joined the United Brethren church 35 years ago and lived and died a devoted Christian. The funeral wps held at Mr. Waymire’s residence, in Jordan, Sunday afternoon, and was very largely attended. The services were conducted by Rev. Wm. Cooper, of Battle Ground, an old friend of the family. She was buried by the side of her husband, in Egypt cemetery.
