T. M. Callahan and John Holliday visited friends in Rensselaer Saturday and Sunday. Tom Kight, had some pretty late callers, a few nights ago. He didn’t have any shoes to mend either. Will Bodell, who has been in this vicinity for the past 6 months returned to his home at Harrod, Ohio, Saturday. i Greenly Cook, Mahlon Layton and Willis McMurray are prospecting in North Dakota, with a view o: ! locating there permantly, C. H. Bateman, of Lafayette, Ohio, and Miss Maggie Funk, of Rensselaer, spent Saturday and Sunday with the latter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Funk. Miss Zelma Funk and Belle Seitz were in Rensselaer Saturday taking in the sights and doing shopping for themselves and “Others.” “Others” meaning one of those bachelors at Comer.
