Death of Rev. Selah Bloomer.

News has just been received here of a death which took place in Big Rapids, Mich., several months ago. It was that of Selah Bloomer, who until a number of years ago, was a resident of our county, for many years. He lived in different parts of the county, at different times, including, Carpenter, Jordan and Union townships. He preached frequently and was well known over the county in that capacity. < He was also an enthusiastic student of in some of its branches, and possessed a planetarium of his own invention, which illustrated with great exactness the movements of the various bodies of the solar system.
