Born to Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Reed, a boy, Sunday Juno 18. Quite a race was run between Owen Hurley of Blackford and Fred Parcels of Rensselaer, Monday afternoon - Parcel being the winner. Mr. Hamilton of Goodland is visiting his daughter Mrs. Edward Barkley. Miss Etta Mellon of Chicago and Mr. Petitt and wife of near Fair Oaks visited the family of Edward Barkley Sunday. Emmet, infant son of Flora Saidle is quite sick. Quite a wrestling match took place at Blackford Mondays evening between Charlee Martin and Frank Snejder. Martin being the winner.
