Wheatfield Will. Celebrate.

The people of Wheatfield and vicinity are preparing for a big Fourth of July celebration this year, and theirs will probably be the only celebration in the more northerly portions of the county. Their orator of the day will be B. F. Ferguson, of Rensselaer, and he is well qualified to give them an-able and very interesting address on that day; as the occasion requires. Games and sports. of various kinds will be prominent features. Prizes are offered" 1 for base ball, foot race, sack race, wheelbarrow race and potato race. Also a special prize for a grand horse race between the noted runner, Frank Goodrich and Buck McDuff. A novel feature will be the parade of the Skidmore Guards, at 10 o’clock, and from which much amusement is justly anticipated.! The always popular bowery I dance will be a feature in afternoon and evening, and for which [plenty of fine music will be provided as*well as for the embellish- | mantof the exercises in general.
