The Library Entertainment.

The entertainment in the east court room, Tuesday evening, for the benefit of the free public library fully justified in merit all that The Republican had previously promised. The performers were nearly all children, but having been well trained .for their various parts, they acquitted themselves with uniform excellence, and! gave an entertainment that was thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish. The parts taken by Alice Drake and Mabel Huff, whose great natural dramatic and musical talents had been extra well trained for the occasion, were specially well appreciated and both received enthusiastic encores. The library fund derived S2O from the receipts of the entertainment.
