More About the Marriage of the Midgets.

Brookston Gazette. The following little item, clipped from the Rensselaer Republican, brings a bit of news that will be quite interesting to the many friends and acquaintances of the the principals: “Mr. Ova Clevinger and Miss Lucy Ellen Ellis were married Saturday afternoon by ’Squire Burnham. They were both very young, very pretty and very little.” It it quite probable that the bride and groom intended keeping their marriage a profound secret, but, as is always the case in such attempts, some “mean okl newspaper man” got hold of the item and spoiled the romance. While the item would prove interesting because of their long residence and thorough acquaintance here, it is made doubly so because of the youthfulness and minatureness of the contracting parties, the groom being scarcely five feet high, and the bride a few inches shorter, and having only recently donned long dresses. For several months Mikey has been painting at Remington, and his bride has been employed in a hotel there, and there they will continue to reside. For their future hapiness the Gazette joins many friends iff’an earnest wish.
