Monon Affairs.
The situation on the affairs of I the Monon remain about as they have been the past ten days, but I President McDoel and all the fi- | nancial officers are in New York, r' and it is thought that within a few *~daye there will be a settlement of I some kind. It is now aserted that Samuel Thomas gave the Morgan ? syndicate a clean bill of sale, and I that the payment of the unsecured I creditors must fall to him. He Ihas the money to pay them, and I will likely do so, thus avoiding another recievership for the road* ; and another sale. There is no question but that if the matter is not arranged {Judge Woods will set aside the* sale to the present company and order the property sold again.—Indianapolis Sentinel.
