Children’s Day exercises will be «held at the Good Hope church in Union township Sunday June 18. Ethel Arnold after visiting Mrs. Nora Israel and other relatives in this vicinity a few days returned to her home in Fair Oaks Sunday. Leander Renicker and wife and Mr. Metzker and wife, of Delphi, attended the funeral of their sister-in-law, Mrs. Fred Renicker Saturday. Charles Gilmore and family, of DeMotte, visited at Anderson Monday. Quite a crowd of young folks attended the Children’s Day exercises Saturday evening at Parr, Rev. Metzker, of Delphi, preached at the Dunkard church Sunday. Mrs. Stanley of near Rensselaer, visited her daughter, Mrs. Jesse Jenkins Friday. Mrs. Margarette Henkle is quite sick again. John Frazee and wife attended the funeral of Mrs. Frank Fisher, of Dunnville, last week. T. H. Hurley was around in the Gifford district Sunday viewing the onion fields. a Lura Steele is on the sick list. The infant child of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Hurley Jr. died Friday, and was buried in the Sandridge cemetery Saturday. Anderson Jenkins is on the sick list.
