Obituary

Caleb E. Pierson was born in Butler Co, 0., June 12, 1821. Removed to Greensburg, Ind., in 1853, living there three years when, he removed with his family to Jasper Co., locating on the farm where he died. He was married to Emily S. Meder, on Feb. 19, ’45 Four ohildren were born to them, two sons and two daughters, all of whom are living. His wife died Aug. 3, 1858. He was married again to Elizabeth Kane, Jan. 10, 1860. One daughter was born to this marriage, who also is living. This wife died Mar. 28, 1868| He was married again to Victoria McCord, kar. 27, 1870. One daughter was born to them. The ohildren are all living, Mary E. Wood, Henry Pierson, Lnoretia M. Laing, Charles F. Pierson, Sarah Erwin and Bertha B. Felson. All the ohildren liyed near him exoept two, who are living in Kansas. He was afflicted nearly all his life and was a great sufferer but maintained great patience through it all.
