Monon Affairs.
The situation on the affairs of the Monon remain abbnt as they have been the past ten days, but President McDoel and all the financial officers are in New York, and it is thoughi that within a few days there will be a settlement of some kind. It is now aserted that Samnel Thomas gave the Morgan syndicate a clean bill of sale, and that the payment of the unsecured creditors must fall to him. He has the money to pay them, and will likely do so, thus avoiding another recievership for the road* and another sale. There is no question buHibat if the matter is not arranged ’satisfactorily, |Judge Woods will set aside the. sale to the present company and order the property sold again.—Indianapolis Sentinel.
