Little Boy Badly Bitten.
A gang of dissolute dogs got into a general fight on the oorner near R. B. Porter’s residence, Sunday afternoon, and Mr. Porter’s infant son Bruce happened to be right in the midst # of them, and was too frightened to get away. The dogs were biting right and left as dogs will do on such occasions, and one of them siezed the little boy and bit clear through the mnsoles of the fight arm, a little below the elbow. It was a pretty bad bite but Dr. English was promptly called and dressed and cauterized the wound, and there is no special reason for fearing blood poisoning or other dangerous results. No one knew which of the dogs bit the boy, but as their assembling there was due to the attractions of a strange dog of the. $3 brand, (which never pay the $3) and the oity marshal was sent for and he shot the $3 dog. There are several other stray dogs of the same kind around town that ought to be dealt with in the same way.
