A Big Wedding at DeMotte.
One of the most interesting matrimonial events that ever took place in northern Jasper was the wedding at DeMotte, Tuesday, June 6th, of Miss Lillian E. Troxell, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob M. Troxell, and Mr. Leonidas W. Benbow. The wedding was held at Mr. and Mrs. Troxell’s • residence and the marriage ceremony took place promptly at noon, and was performed by Rev. H. M. Middleton, of Rensselaer. After the ceremony a splendid wedding dinner was served, to about sixty guests. There was a fine array of bridal presents. The groom is a well known teacher, and they will reside for the present at near which place Mr. Benbow will teach the ensuing school year. The newly married couple took the afternoon train for Chicago, where they will spend a few days, and where the groom has two brothers, living.
