Miss Maggie McGlinn entertained several of her friends Sunday, especially Mr. Grow. Miss Dora Kennedy and her- sister, Mrs. Shirer, spent Saturday and Sunday with their brother James, at Rose Lawn. Anyone wanting to know about the Sigler hotel at Cedar Lake enquire of Mart White. Rev. Hickman, of Wheatfield will preach at this place, Wednesday evening. All are cordially invited to come and hear .him. Mrs. Annie Meyers and daughter Nellie have returned home |from an extended visit in Johnson and Jen ninos counties. The ladies of Ivniman will give an ice cream and strawberry festival at the school house next Saturday evening June 10th. This social is CJ to help to buy an organ. Come one, come all, who wish to enjoy a social time. Mr. Cox and family, from west of Rose Lawn were visiting at Mr. McGlinns’ last week.
