Death of Caleb Plerson.

Caleb E. Pierson died Tuesday morning, June 6th at his home a few miles southeast of town. The cause of his death was stomach and other trouble, and his sickness had been of long duration. His age was 77 years, lacking six day#. In length of residence he was one of Marion township’s oldest citizens, as he was also one of the most highly esteemed. The funeral was held at Watson school house, Thursday at 2:30 p. m., by Rev. H. M. Middleton. Interment in Crockett cemetery.
