Got A Big Contract.

The Indiana Macadam Company whose plant is at Monon, but is owned and controlled by Rensselaer parties, with Delos Thompson as president, has just pulled off the biggest single contract the company ever secured. It was awarded to them Monday at Crown Point, and is for building fifteen miles of stone roads in Lake county, and miles of it being in the town of Lowell. The contract price is $47,510, and one year the time to complete the work. The next higher bid was by the Capital Paving Company of Indianapolis, whose figures were only $255 above those of the Macadam Company.
