Superintendent Hamilton Reelected.

The Township Trustees met Monday morning as by law required, and proceeded to elect a county school superintendent to serve for the term of four years. It was conceded by everyone that Louis H. Hamilton, would be reelected, but in view of the fight the Jasper County Demoorat began on Mr. Hamilton, some time ago, and the beginning of which fight followed very soon after Mr. Hamilton refused to take the slanderous sheet any longer, it was thought in some circles that possibly some of the Democratic trustees would not vote for Mr. Hamilton. We never put any faith in this view however, as we knew that the tftree Democratic Trustees were men of sense and honor, and and not to be influenced by such methods as the Democrat adopts. The result justified this view, and everyone of the thirteen trustees cast their votes for Mr. Hamilton, and he was declared duly elected. Call on L. S.
