Death of Mrs. Joseph Groom.

Mrs. Evaline Groom, wife of Joseph Groom, died at her home near Groom’s bridge, in Barkley Tp., Wednesday, May, 30, after a sickness of about 7 or 8 [weeks. The cause of her death was an abscess on the lungs. She was the daughter of Isaao D. and Mary Walker, and was born in Barkley Tp., Feb. 11th, 1873, and her age was 26 years, 3 months, and 20 days. She weß married Feb. 24th, 1892, and leaves four very young children, to sustain, through life, the great loss of a tender mother’s love and care. The funeral was held at the residence Thursday afternoon, by Rev. H. M. Middleton, of Rensselaer. Interment was in Smith cemetery.
