The County Superintendency.
The township trustees are required by law to meet at 10 o’clock a. m. next Monday, to elect a county superintendent, for the term of four years. Heretofore the hour of the day was not specified, and the term was two years. Another change regarding county superintendents, has to do with their qualifications. They must hold either a three years county license, or else a state professional license, for five years, or a state life license. Our present county superintendent, Louis H. Hamilton, who is sure to be re-elected to succeed himself, next Monday, meets not only one, but two of these requirements, as he holds a three years’ county and a five years’ state professional license.
