Heavy rain Wednesday morning. Wheat is nearly all plowed under. Some corn to be planted. Early corn looking well. Rye will be an excellent crop. Uncle Isaac , Alter has gone to Chicago to look after his patent fencefpost. «_AII the cemeteries in this vicinity were decorated on Tuesday. Nobody has gone fishing yet. Trustee Comer will soon resume gravel road work. A remarkable scarcity of snakes this year. Perhaps the winter was too severe. Excellent Sabbath school at every church and many school houses. The graduating exercises were a great success. •
