ROSE BUD.
Corn planting is the order of the day. Owing to the rain and cool weather the planting is a week or ten days later than it would have been. Sunday School at Good Hope .every Sunday at 3 o’clock. The friends of the departed has given the grave yard on D. H. Yeoman’s farm quite a different appearance. Prayer meeting at Rose Bud every Wednesday night. A good interest. Everybody cordially invited. Brushwood has extended an invitation to Rose Bud to attend Memorial services there next Sunday, which was agreeably accepted Lee Mauck’s new house is near completion. Rev. G. W. Carnes reports quite an interesting quarterly meeting held at Egypt school house the 20 and 21st inst Mr. Fay, of Parr, received a telegram Tuesday morning stating that his mother was not expected to live but a few hours.
