Babcock, editor of the Jasper County Democrat, for criminal, libel on complaint of George E. Marshall. The defense moved to quash the affidavit and information, on the grounds that the words complained of were not libellous The court overruled the motion to quash; the defendant plead not guilty and the case was continued until the next term; The defendant gave bail for SIOO for his appearance. In another criminal libel case, the State vs John H.
