Some Interesting Points in the New Laws.

Leases that run over three years must be recorded with the county recorder. Claims against the city must be filed five days before allowance and put on a docket by the clerk. Mayor has the veto power in cities of less than 30,000 inbabitants. It is larceny to steal a dog that is assessed as property. Wages of all wage workers must be paid weekly. Assignments of mortgages mast be recorded. Dentists must take oat a license. Those already in practice most file with the clerk a certificate of record or permit of the State Board of Dental Examiners within 90 days.
