Warren and Jessie White did shopping in Valparaiso last week. The Van Patten and Dunville schools closed Saturday. John Biggs and family spent Sunday with the family of D. Collins. Manda Hoyes and McDadc Collins visited in Rensselaer Saturday. J. C. Kaupke transacted business in Rensselaer the first of the week. v* Emma Henry left for her home in Boone Co. Monday. Bert Vauderoar and Netta Collins took the teachers examination Saturday. Mrs. Durfllinger who has been very sick is improving.
