End of the Back Tax Cases.

The last of the six or seven rather celebrated suits against wealthy citizens of Rensselaer and, Remington, for the collection of alleged back taxes, and penalty for same, begun a year or two ago, came to an end at Fowler, ThursI'. day, where they had been taken on a change of venue. These remaining cases were those against W. B. Austin and G. K. and E. L. Hollingsworth. These cases were all dismissed. The other similar cases reached a like termination some time ago.
