Death of “Our” Baby.
Jisse Carroll, youngest child of George E. and Lille B. Marshall, was born August Ist, 1898. He yrasa strong, bright baby, until the severe and changeable weather of the past winter caused him a series of sicknesses from colds, which finally developed into lung fever, and he also appeared to be Buffering from some lingering malady, the exact nature of which could not be determined. Brain fever finally developed, and after weeks of great suffering his little troubled life went out, just as the church bells were calling the worshippers to the houses of God, Sunday morning. His age was eight months and fifteen days. Brief andeimple funeral services were held Monday afternoon, at the ; residence, Elder Sheppard of the Christian Church conducting the religious services.
