An Interesting Birthday Anniversary.
From the Medaryville Advertiser z we copy the following account of a birthday anniversary, at which most of the people mentioned are past or present residents of this county: “The event of Mrs. Hannah Freshour’s 87th birthday last Monday was the occasion of a family re-union, taking place at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary M. Querry, on Main st., with whom Mrs. Freshour has been living for a number of years. Fotir generations were represented at the meeting. Mrs. Freshour was born April 10th, 1812, and there are ,now living five of her children, twentysix grandchildren and forty-three great grandchildren, the majority of whom live in this town and in Gillam. The occasion was celebrated with a sumptuous dinner, to which the following members of the family did ample justice: Ben Faris and wife, George Freshour and wife, Warren Robinson and children, Charles Robinson and wife, John Vanßuskirk anil family, Mrs. J. R. Guild and family, Mrs. Harry Jones and family, Mrs. Edna Jones, Ellis Redinbo and children, Uncle Elias Faris, Paris Robinson, Will Robinson Celia McCollough, Mrs. Rachel Dunn Fleming J. Paris and family, W. F. Querry and family, Mrs. P. M. Querry and sons, Charles Sprague and P. C. Freshour and wife, E. W., Faris. Bertha Pulaski—in all about fifty-five. An enjoyable time was had by all and the wishes foj many of the happy event were heartfelt and unanimous.”
