Attorney General Taylor recently drew up the contract by which the Reliance Manufacturing Company will employ 100 convicts at Michigan City. The contract calls for the payment of 40 cents a day and that an average of ten hours work shall be provided. The contract will expire Oct. 1, 1904. Overalls will be manfactured.
