Weather Record.
That March, 1899, has been a most peculiar one is clearly proven by the records. The average daily temperature for March, 1898, was 41, with but eight days of rain or cloudy weather, and no snow, while the average temperature for March, 1899, was 28 or 8 degrees below freezing. This is 5 degrees colder than the average for November, and exactly the same as December, there being but eight days of fair weather, while there was rain or snow falls on more than half the days of the iponth, with six inches of snow on the 30th.
