Laurence Castor, who moved to IVlnhi some time ago, returned to this vicinity, Tuesday and will work for T. M, Callahan this summer. Thomas Glynn has been repairing the Engine and boiler of the Hydraulic boat the past week. Lee Jessup has finished bnilding the store at Comer and if is now for rent. A very good opening for the right man. Abler and Wilson did business in Rensselaer. Saturday. Harry Gifford and wife are visiting friends and relatives at Hersher, 111. Less and Earl Hewit did shopping in Rensselaer and Pleasant Ridge, Friday. Mr. Foster of Kankakee, 111., who has been working on the dredges, finished work and returned home, Saturday. Harry Gifford received 1000 lbs. of onion seed Monday. All of the Yellow Globe variety. If the present weather continues we will have to sow it broadcast on the snow. John Sohwind will work for Mr. Wilson this summer. Master Ownie Collahan is visiting his sisters Kittie and May in Rensselaer this week.
