To Investigate Nickum.
An Indianapolis special says tbe federal grand jury will not meet until May, but the district attorney's office is busy preparing cases to be investigated. Tbe prospects are that the grand jury will have an exceedingly large amount of work. Tbe grand jury will take up the case of 8. B/ Nickum, the Logansport inventor of a perpetual light. The last jrand jury indicted Nickum and ie was to have shown before thia hat he is not engaged in violating he postal laws. At least one indictment is expected against Nickum and there is possibility of more. Wm. Daniels, of Barkley Tp., was a member of the grand jury which indicted Nickum before, and he is firmly convinced that he is a fraud of the worst description.
