A New Township Assessor.

W. O. Roadifer, for several years past the assessor of Carpenter township, and ona of the very best township assessors in the county, has resigned his office. The appointment of his successor de volves by law upon the county auditor, and Tuesday Mr. Murray made the appointment, naming John H. Allman, of Remington. He is a man well qualified for the place, and whose appointment will give general satisfaction to the people of the township.
