The Jasper Library.

At the stockholders’ meeting of the Jasper Library Association, Saturday evening, about 70 shares or stock were represented. The constition was adopted and a board of directors elected. The directors elected were, S. P. Thompson, W,

B. Austin, D. B. Nowels, L. Strong, Mrs. Amanda Warren, Mrs. Ora Ross. The county auditor, county clerk and county recorder are directors, by right of office. For treasurer, E. L. Hollingsworth was elected. After the meeting of the stockholders, the newly elected directors met and organized by electing S. P. Thompson president, P. B. Nowels vice president and W. H. Coover secretary. The directors will meet again Saturday night, to choose a librarian and adopt by-laws.
