To Test the Law.

A public mass meeting of Lake county taxpayers Was. held at Grown Point Friday to protest against the county commissioners building a court house at Hammond for the superior court. The Hammond wing presented their case to the commissioners and seem to get the best of the antipeople and now the latter have engaged counsel and will enjoin the commissioners from -proceeding any further until the constitutiohality of the statutes can be determined in the supreme court. r
