One of the Famous Twins Dead.

Richard McGriff, one of the famous twins of eastern Indiana, died Friday, March 10th, at his home in Deerfield, Randolph

county. He would have been 95 years old had he lived until the 31st of next August. His death was the result of exhaustion. , Richard and his brother John were the most famous twins in Indiana, and probably in the whole country, and have been frequently mentioned in this paper. Our townsman, Simon Phillips, the well known auctioneer, is their nephew, and for several years past has not failed to attend the celebration of their joint birthday. The surviving brother, John, was at Richard’s side when he died. He is also very feeble and the shock of his brother’s death may hasten his own.
