Long Chase After a Wolf.
Charley Boswell, of Hanging Grove Tp., son of XJmfoßfo? Bussell, of.Rpnsselaer and evidently a worthy successor of that mightiest of our old time hnptera. Ghayley went oat looking for wolves, last, Wednesday, Feb. Ist, With a ten dollar bounty, in the distance, and he thus relates his day’s experience: I started a wolf in the Poole Marsh, shot it and wounded it by breaking fore leg, then followed it across Eih farm, Shwarts farm, Sayers farm, Uncle James Randle’s pasture, Uncle Add P&rkiApn’s farm, Add. Parkison Jr’s farm, James Parkisou’s farm, Granville Moodv’a field. Mrs. Barkley’s farm, then south and west of Mark Yeoman’s and Nafo Ejdridge’s, south to William Lotnans, then across the creek to Geo. Parkfoon’s farm, then east nprth of Ridge, across A. K. Y eoman’s pasture, east io James Overton’s farm and across it, then norm across A. E. Josser*nd?s farm, north through W. P. Marlin’s farm, north through A. O. Moore’s farm, then east to Jas. Randle’s pasture, through D. S. iLi*. farm, through Ed. 3V Randle’s door yard, and across his farm to J. C. Gwin’s tarm through bis orchard and south across hia farm to A McCoy’s farm and then I overtook it and shot it through and throuKh. It> a female and a very large one. Who can beat, that chase, without grub, horse or dog? Starting at 10 a. m. and ending at 4 p. m.
