Everybody and his best girl have the grip. L. B. Hewitts baby who has the scarlet fever is not expected to live Otis Beedy and Billy Gutherie baulded wood to Wheatfield lues. George Fanson will move to Wheatfield next week. Samuel Pass has rented his place out and will move on one of B, J. Gifford’s farms on the east side. Dave Black and Sam Scott have returned from theis trip to Missouri. They were well pleased with the country. John Kieth is the Champion foot racer in this vicinity. For further particulars inquire of Billie Gutherie. B. J. Gifford was seen in this vicinity a few days last week, John Gaffey was called to Chicago Sunday by telegram, his brother being near death.
