Grown Out of His Recollection.

C. P. Mayhew, once one of Rensselaer’s best and best known merchants, now of Red Blnffe, California, writing back to make his annual renewal of subscription to The Republican, says: “When I left Rensselaer almost seventeen years ago I knew every man in Jasper Co. Now I do not know one in ten whose names I see mentioned, from time to time, in The Republican. Jasper was my home and with all its changes it is more like home to me than any other plaoe.”
