A Sure Enough Elopement

Sunday Robert Crisler, tbe well known lumber dealer of Mt. Ayr was here looking for his 14 year old [daughter, Glenn, and was a good deal worried and excited over her disappearance. He did not find her, however, but when the milk train oame down that night from Chicago, the missing girl got off at Surrey, in company with Percy Lakin, the 21 year old son of J. S. Lakin, of some miles west of Surrey. The yonng couple had been up to some town in Wisconsin and got married. The couple had been keeping company for some time but a marriage was objected to by the girl’s parents on account of her age.
