Dema Hopkins is still sick but somewhat better. William Freeman, who lived on the Dallas Nowels farm, has removed to his Illinois farm at Newman. Mr. Zell Fisher will occupy his farm here next year. Clinton Thornton is at Brookston assisting in a protracted meeting. Ed. Kirk, of Rensselaer, is going to start a drug store at Parr. Bruce Banta, of Chicago, is visiting Mason Kenton’s a few days. An ovster supper will be given, at Mason Kenton’s, next Thursday evening for benefit of the church. '(:[S L. M. Wilcox attended the bandconcert at Rensselaer last Friday evening. Mrs. Lang and daughter Lennie Sundayed in Rensselaer. Mr. Leek’s sister is quite sick at his home.
