A Generous Act.
The fact was mentioned several days ago that a horse belonging to James Bullis, of Jordan Tp., had slipped at W. C. Babcock’s elevator and broken its leg, and had to be killed. Mr. Babcock, owner of the elevator, was probably not in any way responsible for the accident, and Mr. Bullis had not thought of trying to hold kim responsible, nor did he ask Mr. Babcock to pay for thehorse. But Mr. Babcock learned that Mr. Bullis had just the note given when the horse was purchased, *of S4B-50 and he wrote out and handed to Mr. Bullis his check for $59.
