Death of Lewis Meyers.

Word was received here Thursday of the death, Wednesday, Jan. 18th, of Lewis Meyers at the home of his brother-in-law, E. T. Biggs, in Wheatfield. His home, for some years past, has been at Bradley, or North Kankakee, 111., but he had come back on a visit and was taken sick at Mr. Biggs’ place. His sickness was mentioned some time ago in this paper, but it was thought then that he was well on the road to recover. He was an excellent citizen and one of the well known Meyers family, of Walker Tp. Wm D. Meyers, of Walker and John E. and Geo. F. Meyers, of Knima», being his brothers. The funeral was held at Wheatfield this afternoon, under the direction of the Odd Fellows.
