Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Brown returned from their visit in Kakakee Friday. John Fanson expects to take a visit to St. Louis this’week. B. J. Gifford, of Kankakee, 111., was out looking over his new K. R. last week. Frank Lewis" has charge of the saw mills and is receiving ties. Charles Evans has taken his place in the office at West Hdq. Harry Gifford shipped a car load of onions to Cincinati Monday. J, G. Cusson has begun the erection of a store building at Gifford station, when completed Dr. Kannal of Rensselaer will put in a stock of drugs. • Albert Streblo transacted business in Rensselaer Monday. Judd Zook is working for Tom Tanner this week. Scott Graham and family visited Mack Lonks and family Monday. Mrs. Griggs and son Nelson visited Len Griggs -and family Sunday. Misses Mary and Jessie Wdllard visited George Beedy Saturday and Sunday.
