Death of Mrs. Isaac Barkley.

Word was received here by telegraph Thursday, of the death, the evening before, of Mrs. Miranda Barkley, a former old and long time resident of our county. She was the widow of Isaac D. Barkley, whose death occurred in Rensselaer several years ago. Previous to coming to Rensselaer she and her husband lived in Barkley Tp. for a great many years. Since Mr. Barkley’s death she has made her home with a son-in-law at Anderson, this state, and at which place her death occurred. She had reached quite an advanced age, being about 77 years. Her daughter in Rensselaer, Mrs. Hawkins, left for Anderson to attend the funeral. Thursday night.
