Mining Property Sold.

C. P. Wright has returned from Alexander City, Alabama, having assisted in closing up the sale of one of the mining properties there, of which himself, B. F. Ferguson and two other parties are the owners. The price was $75,000. It is stated that the mine was thoroughly tested by the most competent mining experts before the sale was closed up. The same parties have several other gold mines believed to be just as good, and for which propositions to purchase are now pending, and in connection with one of which offers Mr. Wright has gone to St. Louis, today. Besides the gold mines they also have seveial mica mines which are believed to far surpass the gold mines in value. The present plan of the owners is not to sell the mica mines but to retain and develope them, themselves.
