Smk Leach family, of Parr, are jSfWfa job lot of divorces, and they to transfer the center of gHirce activity from Remington of the sacred name, of all maces on earth. ■ The first Leach case filed was lhat of John Leach against Jettie fLeach. They were married Nov. lilt, 1896, and parted about Deo. 1 ( 1897. The plaintiff charges his wife with cruel and inhuman treatment, in that she “wholly failed to perform her marital duties” in that she refused to get up mornings to cook his breakfast and to cook his meals generally, or to take care of his house. Also that she treated the plaintiff with oontempt, would go sway for days at a time, and is now said to go out of nights to dances etc. with other men, especially one Wm. Fylander. The second case is that of Minerya Hershbeel vs Wm. Hersbbeel. The plaintiff in this case is sister of the plaintiff in the Leach oase. They were married in June 1896, when the plaintiff was only 15 years old and the defendant 21. She charges that he struck, beat, cursed and abused her, failed to provide for her support; also that he is a habitual drunkard and used to “smash things” when on a drunk, threatened to kill her etc. She wants a divorce and the £ restoration of her maiden name, Minerva Leach.
